Concept

Our goal is to offer integrated support to the development of every child.  To reach this goal, we follow the Teaching Plan 21, a newly developed education curriculum. This teaching plan demonstrates education and didactic teaching possibilities for working with Kindergarten children and defines their fundamental curriculum.

In addition to the fundamental curriculum, we work out individual goals for each pre-kindergarten child, personalising the curriculum to best suit their needs, abilities and talents for an optimised school readiness.

On the basis of the following three competencies, we plan the different subjects/topics in the kindergarten:

The capacity to realize responsibility for oneself and to act appropriately in different personal situations.

The goals below are parts of this competence and help to reach the objective in this area:

  • Developing perception
  • Developing the capacity for self expression
  • Developing independent actions and self-confidence
  • Developing the ability to make good choices and decisions
  • Learning how to handle success and disappointment
  • Developing endurance and concentration

The capacity to live in partnerships and society, to perceive responsibility and to act appropriately in social situations.

The goals below are parts of this competence and help to reach the objective in this area:

  • Developing empathy and thoughtfulness
  • Developing relationships, partnership experience, and taking responsibility
  • Developing communication skills (differentiating and expanding)
  • Developing conflict resolution skills

The Kinderwelt Kuessnacht offers a variety of opportunities to explore, discover, do and create. Children develop personal, social and cognitive competencies through a variety of activities. It is very important to us to offer optimal learning conditions and to develop and enhance every child`s cognitive, emotional and social learning.

The kindergarten teachers who manage the Kinderwelt Küssnacht embrace this mission with dedication, compassion, and a primary focus on the child.

Admission to our day-care center is possible at any time. We provide equal opportunities; children of any denomination or nationality are welcome.
