Concept

Our goal is to offer integrated support to the development of every child.  To reach this goal, we follow the Teaching Plan 21, a newly developed education curriculum. This teaching plan demonstrates education and didactic teaching possibilities for working with Kindergarten children and defines their fundamental curriculum.

In addition to the fundamental curriculum, we work out individual goals for each pre-kindergarten child, personalising the curriculum to best suit their needs, abilities and talents for an optimised school readiness.

On the basis of the following three competencies, we plan the different subjects/topics in the kindergarten:

Personal Competence
The capacity to realize responsibility for oneself and to act appropriately in different personal situations.

The goals below are parts of this competence and help to reach the objective in this area:

  • Developing movement and motor skills – fine and large
  • Developing perception
  • Developing the capacity for self expression
  • Developing independent actions and self-confidence
  • Developing the ability to make good choices and decisions
  • Learning how to handle success and disappointment
  • Developing endurance and concentration


Social Competence
The capacity to live in partnerships and society, to perceive responsibility and to act appropriately in social situations.

The goals below are parts of this competence and help to reach the objective in this area:

  • Developing empathy and thoughtfulness
  • Developing relationships, partnership experience, and taking responsibility
  • Developing communication skills (differentiating and expanding)
  • Developing conflict resolution skills
  • Developing values
  • Developing tolerance and understanding for other and different people


Cognitive Competence
The capacity to judge situations and act accordingly.

The goals below are parts of this competence and help to reach the objective in this area:

  • Working with different materials
  • Exploring different tools and musical instruments
  • Expanding cultural experiences
  • Greater awareness of natural phenomena
  • Getting to know new terms
  • Using discussion rules
  • Recognizing problems and working on ways to solve them
  • Further developing intelligence and awareness abilities
